Write for SILAMYS

We aim to involve readers in writing contents for SILAMYS. Please be aware that since SILAMYS is a volunteer-sustained, educational, non-for-profit project, no retributions will be  paid to authors.

We especifically are looking for:

  • Book reviews to be published in SILAMYS Free Library
  • Articles to be published in SILAMYS Free Bulletin

Here are some tips and guidelines for your reviews and articles to be accepted:

SILAMYS will prioritize reviews for books included in this list.

Book reviews and articles should fall in one or more of these areas: mediumship; deathbed visions; apparitions, hauntings and poltergeists; reincarnation and spirit possession; near-death experiences; spontaneous and instrumental after-death communications; Spiritualism; and psychical research or researchers.

If you’re planning to write book reviews, we strongly recommend you to read some of those already published in the SILAMYS Free Library. If you plan to write articles, please have a look to those pieces already published in SILAMYS Free Bulletin.

Reviews and articles must be written in English and sent to silamys[at]silamys[dot]com. Reviews should have at least 500 words; articles should have at least 2000 words.

You can send your pieces under your real name, under a penname, or under no name at all. In the latter case, if your review is chosen for publication it will be published under “SILAMYS” authorship.

Not all pieces sent to SILAMYS will be chosen for publication. You’ll only be informed if your piece is going to be published.

Best book reviews may also be published in the SILAMYS Free Bulletin.

SILAMYS does not hold copyrights of your pieces. You do. Please feel free to republish them wherever you please.

Thanks for your involvement and for building SILAMYS with us.
